Valentine's Day from a Teacher Perspective

miscirenee

Honest confession coming your way, Valentine's Day is tough as a teacher. Do I love that the kids get excited to give each other Valentine's and enjoy seeing them get excited to decorate their little boxes? Yes. Is it hard to manage expectations, teach, coordinate missing Valentines and lists, and then deal with the sugar rush? Also, yes. I try to avoid giving out candy and my son's school doesn't allow it. Last year he came home with a bag full of small trinkets that ended up all over the house. I wanted to come up with something that was entertaining, but also didn't take up too much space. I got these on Amazon and I like that they can use them on the sheet or put them on paper. My daughter loved them so I got another differently themed set for her, and I'll use the rest for my kiddos. These are great for prize boxes, goodie bags, and perfect boredom busters to keep in your purse!
