Starting From Scratch

A few months ago I was out to dinner with my husband. He asked me what I would do if I lost my job today. I laughed, “I’ll be fine.” I said. Before kids, I always had another job in addition to teaching. Losing my job was even something I almost FANTASIZED about. Free time…trying different things…it sounded kind of nice. Cut to a week ago and I found out my husband lost his job. Now I have to ensure I keep my job and I’m looking for ways to save money in addition to finding new sources of income. The stress of a less flexible work schedule, different benefits etc. is weighing on us. I’ve always wanted to start a blog and share some of teaching tips and tricks as well as ways I’ve earned money on the side along my teaching journey.
