Don't get me wrong I love candy as much as the next person. Its just my kids get so much candy for Easter from family that we always have way too much! My kids also typically forget about it after a week and it ends up going bad. I like to put in a bathing suit for each kid since its something they will need in the near future. These are some fun ideas that I plan on including in Easter baskets for my kids and some of our family members.
BOOKS!!

This was a request from my daughter. She saw that this book existed on the back of another book by Jane Bexley. I love to indulge in the silly books my kids love.
My son loves Captain Underpants books and we have read the ones he has over and over. I got this one for him. These books are ridiculous and not exactly my type of humor, but if it gets him to read more I'll keep buying them!
Toys and Games
I got these water shooters for my cousins and kids. I love that these can be refilled by the kids and don't have a water tank that needs to be screwed in. These are awesome for the pool, beach, or with a water table. I like the foam ones because the plastic ones end up cracking. I'm going to give these with the reusable water balloons for easy outdoor fun!
Reusable water balloons are the next best thing to those quick fill ones. I love that these don't need to need to be picked up and thrown away. The kids love these for the pool and the backyard. They also make a great hostess gift for pool parties!
These writing tablets were a life saver for our trip to Florida. The kids used them during breaks from the pool, on the plane, and in restaurants. These now live in my bag and have come in handy while waiting for doctor's appointments and at practices. I got another set for my nieces to give them for Easter.
